Attention: Secretary to the Tender Board Scope of Work: Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) invites interested and reputable Contractors with relevant verifiable experience and capability to apply for Pre-qualification for consideration to Tender for an Integrated Biostratigraphy, Sedimentology and Geochemistry Contract (SNEPCo). Biostratigraphic, sedimentological and geochemical analytical services are required on routine basis for all exploration, appraisal and selected development wells to provide geological and subsurface data in support of routine well evaluation, determination of hydrocarbon zones and reserves estimation. The scope of this Contract consists of three key activities which are as follows: Biostratigrapghy: The biostratigraphic work to be performed by this contract shall consist of: 1. Micropalaeontological analysis/interpretation 2. Palynological analysis / interpretation 3. Calcareous Nannoplankton analysis/ Interpretation 4. Biostratigraphic Well site Analysis While Drilling Sedimentology: The sedimentological work to be performed under this Contract consists of sample preparation, lithological description, core description, grain size analysis, thin section analyses, heavy mineral analyses, X-ray diffraction, and other mineralogical / petrographical analysis as requested by the Company. Routine Geochemical Services: The type of geochemical work to be performed under this Contract shall consists of sample preparation, analysis and data interpretation of various geochemical measurements at the specific time and have them reported as requested by the Company. The term of the contract will be Two years with an option to extend for one year. |
