Attention: The Tender Board Secretary Introduction: Addax Petroleum Exploration (Nigeria) Limited (hereinafter referred to as “APE(N)L” invites interested companies to pre-qualify for consideration in tendering for the provision of Vessel Hire 2009 / 2011 - 8,750 BHP Anchor Handler Tug Supply Vessel Support Services for OML 126 / 137 for work program. Scope of Work: Three 8,750 BHP Anchor Handler Tug Supply Vessels of the following specification shall be required: - BHP not less than 8,750 - Built after 2001 - Bollard pull not less than 100 tonnes - Firefighting: Minimum FiFi 1. - Dynamic positioning: Minimum DP1. - Free deck space: Not less than 400 sq.m. - Liquid Mud Capacity: Not less than 300 cu.m. - Chain lockers for rig chain or the carriage of bulk liquids such as brine not less than 150 cu.m. - Dry Bulk Capacity: Not less than 200 cu.m. in 4 or more tanks. - Potable Water: Not less than 300 cu.m. - Drill Water: Not less than 400 cu.m. - Fuel Capacity: Not less than 800 cu.m. - Vessel to be fully classified and SOLAS approved. - Deck crane: SWL approximately 1.5 tonnes at an out-reach of approx 5m. - 1 x MOB (Rescue boat) with davit. - Vessel to be equipped with main towing winch with not less than 1,000m of wire rope of diameter and SWL commensurate with vessel’s bollard pull, secondary drum capable of holding sufficient work wire to enable anchor handling and other similar field operations, Karmoy forks or similar device for the safe stoppering of chains and wire ropes, shark jaws commensurate with vessel’s bollard pull, stern roller, retractable towing pins, a tugger winch of not less than 5 tonnes SWL and a towing gog or similar arrangement. - Minimum of 8 beds to be available for APE(N)L’s personnel. - Water Making facility to support daily requirement by crew on board. The Scope of Work is expected to commence in September of 2009 and the estimated duration of the contract is two years, with APE(N)L having an option to renew for a further year. |
