Scope of Work: The services comprise the following: 1- Survey and revamping work at the company’s production facilities in South, East, West and North Kuwait areas, and the provision of qualified, experienced and skilled personnel, tools, vehicles, equipment, putting up of a site office, and all other services as described in the contract, on and as and when required basis. 2- The revamping work includes, removal of existing piping and fittings, valves, vessels and equipment, carrying out fabrication, welding work, repair works, installation of new piping and fittings, valves, vessels and equipment, cleaning work, associated painting, scaffolding, electrical, instrumentation, excavation, backfilling, constructing foundations, valve pits etc. and any other work of similar nature as instructed by the superintendent’s representative. 3- The company shall instruct the contractor by written orders (Service Order) stating the services it requires from time to time, including quantity, description, commencement date and period of engagement of the personnel, tools, vehicles and equipment. The contractor shall be paid for the actual number of personnel, tools, vehicles and equipment as per certified time sheet. For Services that comprise works on a measured basis, measurement of quantities shall be submitted by the contractor and will be verified by the company, before certifying the quantity. |
