Scope of Work: Chevron Nigeria Deepwater “E” Limited on behalf of the participating operators is introducing seven separate tenders, under the 3rd Drilling Services Sharing Agreement (DSSA-3), for their 2010 – 2013 Deepwater Drilling, Completion, and Workover Programs of participating operators. Commencement Dates of required Service is anticipated to be 2nd quarter 2010. The services will be required to support Drilling operations in water depth up to 10,000 ft. Participating operators of the DSSA-3 are: Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Ltd, Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd, BG Exploration & Production Nigeria Ltd, Chevron Nigeria Deepwater "E" Ltd, Petroleo Brasileiro Nigeria Ltd, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd, and StatoilHydro Nigeria Ltd. The deepwater drilling campaign is expected to commence 2nd quarter 2010 for duration of 28 slots with 2 optional extension periods of 6 slots each (totaling 12 optional slots). For this campaign, operators will utilize a single drilling unit that will be rotated amongst DSSA-3 participants. The tender number seven involves the provision of Mud Logging Services (Ref: DWD-2009-672901) Scope of Service Includes: - Provide Mud Logging services which shall consist of complete Formation Evaluation and Advance Drilling Technology (ADT) as required for mud logging in vertical, highly deviated, and horizontal wells (and inclusive of real time transmission to Company's support facilities in Nigeria). The following must be furnish in addition, - Provide full details of equipment to be utilized in the mud logging units and equipment available for water and oil based mud systems in deepwater high temperature and pressure wells. - Provide packages detailing mud logging Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) with kick control and kill services. Must include capability to collect, display and transmit drilling, safety, and geologic parameters, and also H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide) detection capability. - Provide hardware and software to transmit real time directly to Company's support facilities in Nigeria. Company shall provide the data link between the rig-site and the remote location. - Provide hardware and software to transmit real time directly to Company's Wellsite Manager, Geologist, Engineer and Rig floor at the rig site. contractor shall provide the hardware and software to link a minimum of these 4 rigsite personnel's offices in a Local Area Network (LAN). - Mud logging units must be fitted with Class1 Division 1 explosion proof air-conditioning units. All cables, glands and fittings must be explosion proof. - Senior ADT engineers with a minimum of 5 years experience. - Senior Mud-logging engineers with a minimum of 3 years experience - Dedicated Mud-logging maintenance team capable of providing 24 hr logistic and communication support and guarantee time to replace any parts. - Complete listing and specifications of contractor-owned mud-logging units currently available in Nigeria. List to include types, sizes, age and dimension of logging units, complete inventory of all contractor's mud-logging supplies, equipment and tools. |
