Scope of Work: 1- Civil works: The work comprise survey, design, supply, fabrication, delivery, erection and construction works of two portal cabins with approach and service roads, production well, discharge well and RO unit, fence and crash barriers using company’s supplied used pipes for the natural sanctuary at Al-Qurain in Wafra, complete with the all necessary electrical including diesel generator and diesel tank, HVAC and fire fighting works and the provision of all necessary materials, labor, plant and equipment and any and all work which could be reasonably deemed as necessary for the project. Civil works includes: earthworks, concrete work, block/ brick works, aluminum works, ceramic floor, wall and skirting tiles, plaster and paint work, chain link fencing and gates, portal cabin works, signage, asphalt works and road way, crash barriers, RO plant & wells. 2- Mechanical works consists of the following main parts: a- Air-conditioning works. b- Fire-fighting works. A- Air-conditioning scope of work: The works to be carried out by the Contractor under this Specification comprises the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, reliability testing and handling over of A/C system for the AL-Qurain Hill Nature Reserve - Wafra The requirements shall include, but not be limited to the following: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of direct expansion type room mini split units heat pump type, complete with all the necessary and required accessories and installation of all necessary vibration isolators, supports, steel work foundations for equipment, etc., and any miscellaneous mechanical/civil works as required including refrigerant piping with all necessary accessories, drain piping etc., for the units. b- Fire-fighting scope of work: The work to be carried out by the contractor under this specification comprises the supply, installation, testing and handling over of the Fire Fighting system for the various facilities. The requirements shall include the Supply, testing and installation of fire extinguishers. 3- Electrical and telecommunications works: The scope of the electrical works include all the works related to supplying, delivery to site, installation, testing and commissioning of all the necessary electrical equipment, material and accessories such as, distribution boards, switch fuses, power outlets, lighting fixtures, wires, galvanized steel conduits, earthing system, under ground power cables, fire alarm system including fire control panel, smoke and heat detectors and MICC cables etc., telecommunication system, diesel generator, ATS with main switch board and any other works which could reasonably be deemed necessary to provide the company a complete and operable facility. |
