Verenex is seeking two, fast moving, 1500 HP SCR drilling rig complete with Top Drive. Rig component specifics will be described in the detailed invitation to tender. The drilling program would consist of Exploration and / or Appraisal or Development oil wells. The anticipated start date would be Q3 2009 with six months firm and optional contracts based on additional wells, Contractor performance, Company, Management Committee and NOC approvals. All Libyan registered Drilling Contractors are invited to submit their intention to receive the invitation to tender from Verenex Energy by submitting photographs and specifications of their available drilling rigs and current locations for inspection prior to July 15th. An invitation to tender will be let out in August 2009.
