| Scope | Rim seal fire protection system for floating roof tank 1- The system to be protect the rim seal of the open top floating roof tank. 2- The seal type in tank are (hmt) with weather shield. 3- The system to be works automatically to detect and extinguish the fire in rim seal area. 4- The system sent the alarm to main panel in control room for any leak or low level or low pressure. 5- The system sent the alarm to main panel in control room when detect ?and working to extinguish the fire. 6- The system consist or working by extinguishing agent (halon liquefied gas) without any effect on environment or ozone layer - Acceptable global worming potential (gwp) - Acceptable ozone depletion potential (odp) environment friendly. 7- The system designed to install by cold work on floating roof of tank. 8- Providing all necessary parts and Equipments of system (drum, pipes, nozzles, cables, control, connection, joints control panel, junction box. 9- Providing the specification of extinguishing agent and certificate. 10- Provide the Extinguishing agent in containers equal to twice volume of drums in system. 11- Providing all necessary spare parts for working ten years. 12- Providing all detail for technical work of system installation method, operation method, troubles. 13- Determine the distance from rim seal can be protected by each system that means determine number of system for each tank depend on diameter. 14- All pipes and nozzles made of stainless steel type 316L. 15- All connections of system and sensors made of Ultraviolet resistance material. 16- All supporting for (drum, nozzles) to be provided for each system (made of deep galvanized carbon steel). 17- Provide all cable and junction box or any necessary equipment to install the system for (4) floating roof tank. 18- Provide all equipment and tools necessary to install the system by cold work. 19- The system sent the signal (wireless) to the control room provide all ?equipment and stations needed to install the system (the system design according to NFPA standard). 20- Fire alarm panel consist racks enough for 20 tanks. - Tanks diameter to be protected as first stage. 1- Three tanks with diameter 43m 2- One tank with diameters 37m Distance from control room about (1300m) |
