Scope | Hiring of rig services, supply of drilling consumables, casings etc. and related services for two exploratory wells with the provision for third well in the block. AA: Rig Services: Drilling Rig: Hiring of one (1) number Diesel /Electric Drilling Rig of capacity 1400HP (Minimum) 1500HP (Maximum) with associated equipment/ tools & services to drill two exploratory drilling wells in the block, the country, with a provision to drill one more well. Well depths are expected to be 3150m to 3460m MD. Depths of the wells may somewhat increase or decrease at the discretion of the Company within the rated capacity of the rig. Scope of Service: The Contractor(s) shall provide the services of 1 (one) no. of Diesel /Electric Rig Package along with all necessary equipment and personnel and carryout drilling operations including but not limited to coring, round tripping, lowering & setting of casings, completion, abandonment, Production testing as and when required, and all other associated operations including, rig up, rig down, inter-location movement etc. in accordance with the well drilling, and completion programme to be furnished by the Company before commencement of the operation, which may be amended from time to time by reasonable modification as deemed fit by the Company. Apart from this, the Contractor shall also provide spares for the entire rig package, tools and equipment, fuel (HSD) for running the operations, Lubricant, Water (potable & drill water) and shall carry out drilling with tools & expert supplied by the Contractor. The Contractor shall keep adequate stock of spares at all time. BB. Coring Services: The Contractor shall be required to take cores during drilling in 8.1/2 section of hole whenever desired by the Company to obtain formation samples to study reservoir and rock properties. Scope of Work: 1. Arranging for coring (making the tool) includes but not limited to following: a) Dressing up the suitable size core barrel with required length of fibre glass/aluminum inner tube. b) The core diameter hole should be 4”. c) Making up the selected core bit to barrel. d) Recording the length & / or dimensions of different sections. 2. To supervise the coring process including the running-in stage, various drilling parameters while taking core, pulling-out stage & rendering technical help to have the required core in one go successfully. 3. The surface handling process should include but not limited to the following: a) It should be designed to mitigate mechanical damage of core during its recovery. b) The sections of cut pieces of core in fixed lengths of 3 foot or 1 meter or any length fixed by Company and should be marked properly as per prevailing international standard for the ease of identification. c) The ends must be caped after cutting, wrapping, waxed & boxed in proper size boxes. d) Spectral Core Gamma measurements using suitable portable, precalibrated equipment. Hard and soft copies of the data shall be presented to the well site Geologist 4. Following care / precautions to be taken while handling the core. a) The exposure of core to air should be kept to minimum. b) The core must be cut in one pass of the saw blade to prevent mechanical damage / fractures. CC: Deviation Drilling Services: The Contractor shall provide deviation drilling services with equipment/ tools and expert in case of side track job, using mud motor and bent sub if required. The Contractor shall mobilize the equipment/tools and deviation expert in connection with deviation drilling services. The Contractor shall be given a mobilization notice of 72 hours for mobilization of equipment/ tool and personnel. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall workout all requirements of equipment/ tool and spares required for a particular size of hole and accordingly, mobilize tool. It is envisaged that likely requirement of contingency side track job will be in 8.1/2” hole section. However, the same in 12.1/4” hole section shall also be required in contingency situation. 1. Mobilization of equipment and tool 2. Selection of various BHA and drill string configuration 3. Identification of usable equipment and crossover subs available with rig 4. Hydraulics design 5. Job Execution DD: Waste Disposal Services: The Contractor shall provide waste disposal services with equipment/ tools and manpower to treat, segregate and dispose liquid and solid drilling waste from wellsite. The Contractor shall mobilize the service before spudding-in of the well at the first location. The drilling activities will generate rock cuttings mixed with drilling mud. The rock waste needs to be disposed on a regular basis dependent on rate of drilling. Drilling mud may also to be discarded after each section of drilling. The Contractor shall also dispose sewage generated at the camp. Scope of Work: Drill cuttings and liquid waste generated during drilling operation are accumulated in wellsite effluent pit. These cuttings and liquid wastes are to be treated as per guidelines of statutory bodies. The Contractor shall provide evidence to dispose of waste, including environmental licenses and permits relevant to the country waste disposal laws like Waste Carrier Licenses, Hazardous Waste Licenses, and Certificate of registration for Pollution and Environmental Permit. The Contractor, in case, intends to provide the service through third party, has to confirm the above along with registration details of the subcontractor. The Contractor and subcontractor ( if engaged by the main contractor) shall confirm to follow all the norms of waste disposal applicable in the country as per Law of the country. The Contractor shall provide services of effluent treatment, emptying, transportation, disposal of the following: - Drilling Mud and cuttings [from HDPE lined cuttings pit] - General Waste: - Effluents - Other hazardous waste The Contractor shall mobilize all the equipments required for the above. The Contractor shall be paid in per cubic meter volume of waste and additional charges of effluent treatment and transport rates. Accordingly, the Contractor shall be equipped with General waste skips, waste drums, Septic tanks waste, vaccum tankers etc. The volume of effluent pit given in para 4.4 above is approximately and will be paid to the contractor on the basis of actual volume. The estimated waste disposal volume during normal operation period for the entire operation time is given below: 1. General waste: Food Waste, Non-recycle packaging: 10 skips /week 2. Recycle waste: Paper, wood, Plastics, Metals: 10 skips /week 3. Effluents: Shower water, human excrement, 4nos. 5000 gal septic/week 4. Hazardous waste: Oily rags, chemicals, used PPE, 10 drums/week 5. Drilling waste: Liquid: 10000bbl, solid: 800 cum The Contractor shall be paid as per following format: 1. Mobilization charges for equipment/ tool and personnel on completion of mobilization on lump sum basis 2. De-Mobilization charges for equipment/ tool and personnel on completion of de-mobilization on lump sum basis 3. Inter-Location Movement on completion of ILM on lump sum basis 4. Equipment Operating Charges per month 5. Equipment Rental Charges per month 6. Waste transportation charges per month EE: Casing and Tubular Supply: The following requirements of casing are based on two wells of 3460m and 3178m depth. The casing for third optional well may be considered after completion of the first well. The total requirement of different sizes of casing and casing pup joints are given in the table for two wells at Loc: SA & Loc: SB. GG: Wellhead Items Supply: 5K Wellhead Specifications: The wellhead specifications are based on a proposed casing design using a 30” conductor, 20” surface casing string, a 13-3/8” intermediate casing string, a 9 5/8” production string and 7” production Liner. Wellhead is designed to suite the wells having three sections: - 20” Casing Starter Head (Slip Lock or female BTC connection) or 20” VG loc assembly (To be removed once the 13 3/8” casing has been cemented and will be used for the second well - 5K 13 3/8” x 13 5/8” 5K Casing Starter Head - 5K Tubing Head Spool with Tubing Head Adaptor HH: Logistics Services: The Contractor shall be responsible for transportation of all equipment and materials from the port of entry to the country to the rig site and back again, as dictated by the well site operations, as per scope of work of the tender. The contractor must be able to provide: - Customs clearance from the port. - Provision of an in-country covered and un-covered storage facility. - Security, insurance for the covered and un-covered storage facility. - Handling equipment; crane, forklift, gantry crane etc. - Transportation including freight, transit insurance etc from entry point in the country to in-country storage facility and well site. - Transportation including freight, transit insurance etc from storage facility, and well site to country exit point. The Contractor may hire the services from a third party with minimum one year relevant experience of custom clearance, in country transportation, storage etc. with particular reference to the country. |
