| Scope | Electrical & instrument subcontractors for MIPS EPCM 2- QIT power distribution upgrade project. Contract is expected to commence in the 1st quarter of 2013. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: - Installation and inspection of all power and control cables - Installation of 11 nos Assembled Power Modules (APMs) and 34 nos transformers on concrete foundation - Provide all required support to relevant vendors to handle and lift 11 nos Assembled Power Modules (APMs) and 34 nos transformers on concrete foundation - Installation of electrical grounding network - Installation of lightning protection system - PLC programming - All associated instrumentation work - Testing of existing transformers and potential disposal of Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB’s) - Demolition and decommissioning of identified structures and equipment |
