Scope | RWE DEA NA/ME GmbH – Libya Branch, headquartered in Hamburg/Germany, conducts international exploration for hydrocarbons. The company deploys state-of-the-art drilling and production techniques and utilizes the vast expertise acquired over more than 110 years of its corporate history. It has also set standards in terms of safety and environmental protection. In Libya, one of the key regions of RWE Dea’s upstream business, the company operates the concessions NC193 and NC195 located in the Sirte Basin area. RWE Dea NA/ME GmbH - Libya Branch (Company) intend to issue the tender described below and wish to invite for pre-qualification interested, experienced and reputable companies (contractor) specialized in providing Data Processing Services. Scope of Work Summary: The work program consists of the processing of two separate onshore 3D seismic surveys. One shall be located in license area NC195 with the size of approximately 500sqkm and the second one in license NC193 covering an area of approximately 300sqkm. The surveys are both Vibroseis surveys with orthogonal receiver lines and zig zag shot lines between the receiver lines. Receiver lines are separated by 250m each. Receiver and shot point distance is 50m. 18 receiver lines of at minimum 160 channels each form the recording grid, resulting in a 25 x 25 sqm bin size with a nominal fold of 144 and nominal 80 VPs per sqkm. 3D seismic data processing comprises of: - Signal analyses inclusive geometry QC, signal processing. - Post stack time migration, pre stack time migration. - Velocity model for the recorded data. PROJECT TIME CONSTRAINTS The work program is planned to be started in March 2014 and shall be finalized in December 2014. Important Notes: 1.The per-qualification request is not an invitation to tender. Company is neither committed nor obliged to undertake the work described above or to issue any call for tender or to include any respondent to this invitation or other company on any Bidders List or to award any form of contract. 2.The Invitation to Tender (ITT) and full ITT Package will only be issued to qualified companies that have been successfully pre-qualified. 3.Company will not be responsible for whatsoever costs incurred for preparation and submission presented in response to this notice. 4.Company is not obliged to give any justifications or reasons behind disqualifying any of the participants after evaluation of the pre-qualification. 5.Company shall deal only with authorized officers of the bidding companies and not through individuals or agents. |
