Work Description: A- The major objective of this project is to install and run a reliable, highly available, open and integrated control systems with the state-of-the art-proven technology for both DCS & Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) layers. The specifications sections covers: 1- The description of Iraqi Turkish pipeline (ITP) equipments and existing pump automation. 2- Obsolete telecontrol systems 3- Main requirements for design, manufacture, test, supply and commissioning (as per bill of materials) of: - New DCS control systems for the Iraqi Turkish crude oil pipeline (ITP) pump stations (only for located stations at Iraqi side of the ITP), 4 stations, (1) Tank Farm & (1) metering Station. - New SCADA system for ITP (IRAQI side only). - Integration of ITP SCADA network by combining both ITP SCADA systems at Iraqi & Turkish sectors by reputable and robust equipments and protocols. BOTAS also planned to replace the obsolete telecontrol system at Turkish sector (mutually with NOC) and in conjunction with this project. B- The specifications of stations control and SCADA system are segregated according to propriety of each one, the contractor has right to offer a complete and integral system (i.e. PLC based SCADA system) as unique structure and should have the same philosophy and bases covering all functionality, reliability and performance of both DCS & SCADA. C- This specification defines the minimum performance levels required. The bidder's base proposal must comply with the requirements of this general specification and should be higher considering up to date hardware and software platforms, and optimize other benefits such as lower maintenance and reduction of operating personnel. |
