Scope | The Services shall comprise of the following: a. Pre-assessment:- Carry out pre-assessment for the given pipeline based on the applicable NACE standard. Gather historic and current data of the pipeline as per the guidelines given in the section 3 of relevant NACE standard. The information required is available with various teams in the Company for which several visits to different offices shall be required. If required, the Contractor shall specify chemical analysis of the pipeline product to be carried out. The Contractor shall survey the entire route of the pipeline to gather site-specific data. Submit Pre-assessment report to the Company detailing data collected, analysis for feasibility of ICDA and applicable standard, defining ICDA regions and selection of indirect inspection tools. For LP-ICDA, the Company may instruct the Contractor to proceed further even if it is determined that the continuous water wetting (section 3.3.2 of NACE SP0208 is present) is present. b. Indirect Inspection: - Carry out Indirect Inspection based on the Pre-Assessment report to evaluate likelihood of internal corrosion using flow modelling and detailed pipeline elevation profile. Carry out calculation for probability of corrosion distribution both general and pitting using the software (flow modelling and corrosion modelling software) approved by the Company. Carry out site selection for Detailed Examination. Submit Indirect Examination report as per the guidelines given in the relevant NACE standard. c. Detailed Examination: - The Company may instruct the Contractor to carry out Inspection at each site or the Company may carry out and provide the report to the Contractor. Alternately, The Company may provide In-Line Inspection (ILI) result for this purpose. The Contractor shall submit Detailed Examination report for each pipeline with details of collected data, inspection findings, remaining strength evaluation, and root cause analysis of all significant corrosion activities. |
