Scope | The company bids for hiring the services for Testing and Certification of Air Vessels and Safety Pressure Relief Valves in various station under PS3, Jorhat Maintenance Base as per statutory requirements under Factories Act 1948 and the Assam Factories Rules 1950 under Mechanical Maintenance Section, PS3, Jorhat, Assam. Scope of work & other details for External Examination of Pressurized Air Vessels: a) The job is to be carried out by the Competent Person authorized under the Assam Factories Rules 1950 holding valid certificate. b) The job will be carried out at six monthly interval as per clause 56 (7)(a) of the Assam Factories Rules 1950. c) No. of Air vessels at PS1 Duliajan - 3 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), TPS Tengakhat 3 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), PS2 Moran - 2 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), PS3 Jorhat - 4 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each) & 3 nos. (0.311 m3 capacity each). d) After inspection, reports & certificates from the Competent Person for all the Air Vessels are to be submitted to the OIL. e) All costs related to the job (transportation, boarding, lodging etc.) will be in Contractor's scope. Scope of work & other details for Inspection and Hydro-static Testing of Pressurized Air Vessels: a) The job is to be carried out by the contractor and witnessed by the Competent Person authorized under the Assam Factories Rules 1950 holding valid certificate. b) The job will be carried out as per clause 56 (7) of the Assam Factories Rules 1950. Scope of inspection & test will also cover all attachments to the air vessels including pressure setting of Safety Relief Valves mounted on the air vesssel. c) No. of Air vessels at PS1 Duliajan - 3 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), TPS Tengakhat 3 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), PS2 Moran - 2 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each), PS3 Jorhat - 4 nos. (0.663 m3 capacity each) & 3 nos. (0.311 m3 capacity each). d) Hydro-static testing will be carried out at 31 Bar/ as recommended in the Assam Factories Rules 1950, clause 56 (7) (b). e) Contractor will submit a written procedure for the Hydro-testing job to OIL before commencing the job. f) After testing, reports & certificates from the Competent Person for all the Air Vessels are to be submitted to the OIL in standard format. g) All testing equipments, flanges, fittings, instruments, safety gadgets related to Hydrostatic Testing will be in Contractor's scope. h) All other costs related to the job (transportation, boarding, lodging etc.) will be in Contractor's scope. Scope of work & other details for Hydro-static Testing of Process Safety Relief Valves: a) The job is to be carried out by the contractor and witnessed by the Competent Person authorized under the Assam Factories Rules 1950 holding valid certificate. b) No. of Relief Valves at PS1 Duliajan - 5 nos., TPS Tengakhat 3 nos., PS2 Moran - 3 nos., PS3 Jorhat - 10 nos.. c) Hydro-testing job of Safety Relief Valve will be done as per standard SOP of OIL. d) After testing, reports & certificates from the Competent Person for all the relief valves will be submitted to the OIL in standard format. e) All testing equipments, flanges, fittings, instruments, safety gadgets related to Hydrostatic Testing will be in Contractor's scope. f) All other costs related to the job (transportation, boarding, lodging etc.) will be in Contractor's scope. g) Cost of any replaceable parts will be in OIL's scope. |
