Scope | The company issued Limited tenders for the supply of Rheometer, which is required for studying non-Newtonian fluid, low viscosity structured fluids and thixotropic materials. The instrument should have digital interface for control, display, record of parameters and real time sensor data along with coloured touch screen dislpay. The Technical Specifications of the Rheometer are as follows:- 1. Modes of operation: a. Cone & Plate b. Speed: 0.01-250 rpm c. Temperature control: Integrated temperature control with connection to the bath and AP controller or Thermosel system. d. Complete computer control with suitable software to analyze characteristics of crude oil such as viscosity, yield stress, flow curve etc. e. Viscosity range 0.5cP - 92000 cP f. Accuracy: +/- 1.0% of range g. Repeatability: +/- 0.2 % h. There must be provision (temperature sensor) to measure the temperature of the sample directly. i. Provision to circulate water to control temperature of the sample placed in the sampler. j. Cone Spindle: Appropiate cone spindles should be provided for maximum sample volume of 3 ml and covering viscosity range 0.5-11000 cP 2. Rheological Software: The system should be offered with user friendly software for Instrument control and data analysis. The software should have the following minimum features: a) Compatibility with the latest Windows Operating System platforms. b) Data export to output formats such as Word, Excel, and PDF c) Save graphs in various formats d) Perform rheological experiments and analysis thereof. e) Integrated modelling/curve fitting, inter-rheological conversion etc 3. Water bath for Temperature Control: a) Temperature bath system must have digital displays with high performence circulating bath to give control over the sample measurements. b) Programmable with PC control using the software c) Must have 2- speed pump d) Temperature range: -20 to +170 Deg C e) Temp. stability: 0.04 deg C f) Reservoir capacity: 5-7 lits 4. Accessories: a) Cone Spindle to be provided for measuring high viscosity fluids ccovering range 3-92000 cP and requiring maximum sample volume of 3 ml b) Viscosity Standard: One (01) each of 50, 100, 500, 1000,5000,10000mPa.s (cP)at 25 deg C NOTE: All the items to be supplied by a same party. |
