Scope | The company invites bids to Pilot Trial of On-stream Robotic Inspection for Crude Oil Tank with Bottom Fiberglass Lining. The Scope of Services are as follows:- * The Services objectives are as follows: - To identify and measure tank bottom plates corrosion from both soil side and product side from above the fiber glass lining without taking tank out of service. - To determine storage tank bottom plate integrity and reliability as per API-653 Standard. - To gather the thickness readings of the tank bottom plate to assess its current condition and accordingly prioritize the tank for major survey. * The Services shall include the provision of any and all work which could be reasonably deemed necessary to complete the Services. * The Company reserves its rights to refuse payment for any and all unauthorized Services rendered by the Contractor and thusly no claim or requests for adjustment orders shall be entertained by the Company nor accepted under the pretext of implied acceptance by the Company, unless the Superintendent of the Company nominated has in fact approved such Services in writing. * The Services comprise the following Stages:- - Stage-1: is defined as mobilization of the personnel and testing equipment and be present in Kuwait for work commencement. - Stage-2: is defined as carrying out the tank inspection of designated tank, includes completing of all the testing at site, demobilizing all personnel and testing equipment from the site, and submit deliverables. - Stage-3: is defined as period required by the Company for taking the tank out of service, carry out MFL inspection (MFL-Magnetic Flux Leakage) for comparing the test results conducted by the Contractor on Stage-2 with MFL results for fulfilment of Success Criteria. |
