Scope | The company invites Tenderer for the Supply of Services: HSAS removal service for the refinery Amine system. RPIC Refinery intends to remove HSAS (Heat Stable Amine Salt) from lean Amine stream before supplying to the Refinery Amine Absorbers. An amine heat-stable salt (HSS) is the thermally-unregenerable protonated form of the amine. Absorber and regenerator performance can be significantly influenced by the presence of even a relatively low concentration of HSS in the amine solvent. Corrosion rate as well will be increased in amine system if it’s available more than the recommended target which is set by amine system vendor. As per current status we are operating amine system with Generic MDEA. Our target is to maintain HSAS < 2.0 wt% (as per best practice guideline). To maintain lean amine quality our strategy comprises two steps as following:- 1. As 1st step, we will maintain HSAS < 2.0 Wt% by injecting Neutralizing chemical. Intention is to maintain HSAS <2.0 wt % all the time and maintain total anions <30,000ppmw max. In this way the upper limit for total anions (coupled with 2wt% HSAS) is 30,000ppmw max. 2. In 2nd step, amine reclamation will be carried out when the total anions reached around 30,000ppmw. By Reclamation facility (rental basis) our target to reduce HSAS to minimum possible and total anions < 3000ppm. Tender invite bids from reputed vendors (the Contractor) in the field with proven technology and experience to carry out the HSAS removal service (rental & one time use) with the help of their Mobile Unit. The contract shall be for 1 years on a call off basis. |
