| Scope | The company invites bids for AMC for Horticulture Maintenance Works The company invites bids for AMC for Horticulture Maintenance Works at the company, G.Konduru. Indoor & out door Horticulture Services are intended to cover all services required to supply, maintain and replenish at its designated locations and will include: 1) The contractor shall deploy required manpower like gardeners, workers as per SOR, for providing proper indoor & outdoor horticulture services within the location. 2) Contractor shall also supply & stack various materials like Dump Manure, Local Sand, Neem Cake, Urea & DAP etc as per rates mentioned in SOR (including royalty & carriage with all required leads & lifts) as per requirement & as per instructions of EIC. 3) Contractor shall supply plants/ shrubs and seasonal flower plants/ saplings including planting & maintaining the same, as per rates mentioned in SOR & as per requirement & as per instructions of EIC. 4) Maintenance of Lawn: Maintenance of lawns shall include watering as per season’s requirement, removal of weeds to keep the area free from unwanted vegetation & levelling, mowing of the lawns, Applying good earth, dung manure, urea, DAP & neem cake, planting the selection-I grass in lawn areas, removal of dead leaves, sweeping of lawn and disposal of rubbish from site on as & where required basis. 5) Maintenance of shrubs/trees: Watering of shrubs/ trees, providing bamboo supports to the shrubs/ trees, applying good earth, dung manure, urea, DAP & neem cake, shaping of shrubs/ trees, removal of weeds from the bed of shrubs/ trees and earthen up the soil, disposal of unwanted rubbish from site on as & when required basis. 6) Maintenance of hedge: Shall include pruning/ trimming of hedges, watering, removal of weeds from the bed of hedge, earthen up the soil, applying of good earth, dung manure, urea, DAP & neem cake, disposal of unwanted rubbish from site on as & when required basis. 7) Any other jobs/ operations not covered above, but necessary for proper maintenance of lawns, flower beds, shrubs/ trees & hedges etc. will be carried out by the contractor at no extra cost to the company. 8) Maintenance of indoor /outdoor plants: Shall include regular watering, soil working, weeding, manuring, fertilizer, spraying of insecticide / fungicide and growth hormones to the pots once in two months, changing location of pots, clearing foliage of plants with water and soft cloth once in 10 days, shaping of the trees/shrubs at least once in a month for shrubs and once in three months for trees & as and when required basis. 9) Tools, tackles and Equipment’s: All tools, tackles and equipment’s such as mowing machine, cutter, hose pipes, electrical cables, weed picker, cycle rickshaw etc. has to be provided by the contractor and no equipment shall be provided by the company. An indicative list of tools, tackles & equipment’s is mentioned at Annexure However, any other Equipment’s/Tools/Tackles required for proper execution of scope of work shall be provided by contractor at no extra cost to the company. 10) Other specifications for the entire work shall be in accordance with latest CPWD specifications. Whenever these specifications are silent, the same shall be governed by sound engineering practice and the decision of the Engineer-in-Charge in matter of interpretation shall be final and binding on the Contractor. 11) Supervision of Work: The Contractor will deploy minimum one experienced horticulturist having minimum 5 years experience in the field, for day-to-day supervision of work as per specifications and instructions given by the EIC from time to time. Supervisor should submit the report to EIC which shall contain the status of plants, quality of maintenance and recommendations for the future maintenance as Mentioned in scope of work. Supervisor should submit the experience certificate to EIC. |
