Scope | The company plans to engage a qualified contractor for the Inspection and Maintenance of Caterpillar Diesel Engine Packages to support Deep Water Offshore Operations for an anticipated primary contract term of four years and one year optional extension period and is expected to commence in the second quarter of year 2017. The scope of work which shall be provided for these call-off services shall include but not limited to the following provisions: A. Availability of fully trained and qualified personnel (Service Technician/Service Engineer) to perform inspection, scheduled maintenance, ad hoc troubleshooting, performance tests, repairs and overhauls of Diesel Engine Packages. B. Provision of OEM engineering support and services, OEM’s proprietary technical information, and proprietary OEM technology. C. Provision of Exchange equipment and components, and onshore support of services (Workshop). D. Maintenance of records and submission of reports as specified E. Provision of Parts, Materials and Consumables, tools and equipment as required to perform the necessary activities. F. Provision of Third-party equipment, materials, supplies and services related to the provision of subject service. G. Services are to be performed in strict accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations, with industry best practices, and as approved by EEPNL. H. The Equipment to be maintained under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: Four UNATRAC - Caterpillar CAT-3512TA Engines One UNATRAC - Caterpillar CAT-3616TA Engine One UNATRAC - Caterpillar CAT-3516BDITA Engine One UNATRAC – Caterpillar C6.6 Acert In addition to the major components listed above, the term “Equipment” shall include any and all ancillary equipment and systems, auxiliary equipment and systems, engine control systems, governor control systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, monitoring systems, computer hardware and software, and other items associated with the engine. |
