| Scope | The company announces its need for Upgrading of Transmission System. The project scope includes engineering, procurement, installation, migration, commissioning and trainingof Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) optical technology of bandwidth capacity up to 10 Gigabit over the existing Fiber Optic)FO) Backbone interconnecting Mellitah complex, Wafa plant and Line Valve Stations (LVSs) along the onshore pipeline of 530 km, as well as the submarine FO cable of 110 Kminterconnecting Mellitah complex and Sabratha platform. It is initially proposed to implement a network formed by four DWDM nodes pre-selected at Wafa, two LVSs and Mellitah Complex. It is also proposed to provide MPLS router which shall be co-located with DWDM nodes to support the connectivity of IP and legacy traffic. |
