| Scope | The company announces its need for Supply of 500 short ton traveling block Becket style, designed, manufactured, tested, certified and monogrammed as per API specification 8C (latest edition), PSL-2, SR-1 and SR-3 dead load standard equipment complete with following: I) SPECIFICATIONS: a) Load Capacity : 500 Short Ton (454 MT or 10,00,000 lbs). b) Lift eye Capacity : 65 Short Ton (59 MT or 1,30,000 lbs). c) Number of Sheaves : 6 (Six). d) Minimum Sheave Diameter : 1270 mm (50"). e) Wire line size : 35mm (1.3/8"). f) Approximate Shaft Diameter : 254 mm (10"). g) Approximate Overall Length : 2,769 mm (109.1/64"). h) Approximate Overall Width : 1,372 mm (54.1/64"). i) Approximate Overall Height : 800 mm (31.1/2"). j) Coating : Three Coat Epoxy Paint System. k) Standard Colour : Safety Yellow. l) Supplementary Requirement : SR-1 and SR-3. II) Features: a) Designed, Manufactured, Tested, Certified and Monogrammed as per API Spec. 8C (latest edition), PSL-2, SR-1 and SR-3. b) Suitable for On-shore rigs. c) Heavy duty high grade steel Main Frame. d) Heavy duty Wire-line Guards in such a way that the block may be reeved without removing guards. e) Heavy duty steel sheaves with flame hardened API Wire-line Grooves. f) Heavy duty Tapered Roller Bearings in Sheaves. g) Oil quenched and tempered high strength forged alloy steel. Center Pin with individual grease passages to each Center Pin Bearing. h) One-piece high strength forged alloy steel Hook Beckett insert of 500 Short Ton (454 MT). i) Lifting eye at top for hanging the block during slip-and-cut procedures. j) Operating environment: Standard. |
