| Scope | The company is committed to environmental management through emergency response to spills, recovery of the spilled oil and remediation of spill impacted sites in a manner that meets international best practice and the oil industry standard. The Contract for Provision of Consultancy Support for Oil Spill and Remediation Services is an integrated approach to the cleanup and remediation of oil spills impacted environment. The objectives of the Contract for Provision of Technical Support for Oil Spill/Remediation Services are: a. to provide expertise investigation of oil spill impacted areas. b. provide technical supervisory services to ensure quality of remediation work; and. c. to ensure that oil spill clean-up and remediation practice meets regulatory requirements. The scope of work for the Provision of Technical Support for Oil Spill/Remediation Services will cut across SPDC’s operation areas in East and West Locations. The proposed contract will commence in November 2020, and remain active for 36 months duration, followed by 12 months extension option based on performance within the primary contract period. The scope of work covers: 1. Execution of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Risk Assessments of crude oil impacted sites in land and swamp locations. 2. Execution of detailed Soil and Groundwater investigations using appropriate technologies and soft wares. 3. Provision of Remedial Action Plans for Site Remediation. 4. Design of Groundwater Remediation System. 5. Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Remediation Sites. 6. Chemical Testing of Soil, sediments and water samples. 7. Certification of Oil Spill impacted and Remediated Sites with regulators. 8. Provision of Manpower Support for Oil Spill Response and Remediation Activities. 9. Provision of Soil and Groundwater Remediation Subject Matter Expert 10. Provision of trainings on Soil and Groundwater Remediation, and Project Management. 11. Provision of overall Project Management Services for a portfolio of assigned sites. |
