Scope |
The company announces its need for Provision of Mud logging, in its conventional implementation, involves the rig-site monitoring and assessment of information that comes to the surface while drilling, A mud logging unit is installed on the rig when geologic information must be retrieved on a timely basis. The service provides useful insight into the well, where information is collected from the reservoir. The process involves recording chemical characteristics of drilling fluid and well cuttings that are formed during drilling. Real time data such as rate of penetration, pump rate and pressure, weight on bit, mud weigh and volumes are recorded using are recorded by sensors on the mud logging equipment whilst samples of fluids and cuttings are collected by mud log technicians for analysis. By analyzing this information, hydrocarbons presence in reservoir can be identified.
