The company announces its need for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is to substitute the use of physical high-performance machines that is used by the Exploration team. Thus, having virtual machines through VDI enable users to run Petrel Application while providing high range of graphics processing units, therefore, this would allow simulation of geographical data for exploration activity, that will help in reducing the cost and improving the efficiency of productivity as the virtual machine runs without the need to power off the machine. Furthermore, VDI has its dedicated network which reduce the load over Tatweer public network which will ensure providing higher performance to enhance the user satisfaction.
