The company announces its need for Prequalification for the Supply of Neutral Earthing Resistor. Tatweer Petroleum is publishing Prequalification invitation for the 33kV and 11kV Neutral Earthing Resistor. Neutral-earthing resistors are used to ground the neutral point in a medium voltage grid. The resistors limit the fault current in the case of a phase-to-ground short circuit. Neutral-earthing resistors limits damage caused by fault current, resulting in shorter and fewer downtimes. The prequalification tender package contains 3 annexes; the first annex contains the data sheet, deviation list and evaluation criteria for 33kV Neutral-earthing resistors, the second annex contains the data sheet, deviation list and evaluation criteria for 11kV Neutral-earthing resistors, the third annex contains the technical specification of Neutral-earthing resistor, Electrical Engineering Specification, site design conditions and units of measurements.
