The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Replacement of MM5 Protection Relays & CMAC System.
The Scope includes the provisions for supply all material, labor, services, supervision, testing devices, equipment, tools, consumables and all items of expense necessary for the performance of design, detailed engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new protection relays and GPGs (Power Gateways) in the SS(substation)6000 & 5000. In both substations 6000 & 5000, CMAC (Communication Management and Control Computer system comprises 3 sets (3 nos. working & 3 nos. standby units. Existing CMAC units shall be replaced with new Power gateways. CMAC for SS 5000 is located in SS 9000, which will be shifted to SS 5000 under this Tender. Both SS 6000 & 5000 are equipped with approximately 204 Nos. LV motor managers and 34 Nos. HV (3.3 kV) motor managers. There are 190 nos. MM5c and 48 nos. MM5m motor protection relays. All MM5c motor managers are installed in LV switchboards while MM5m motor managers are mainly installed in 3.3kV HV switchboards but few in LV switchboards. It is required to replace all MM5 protection relays inside the SS 6000 & 5000 and associated CMAC system with equivalent power gateways and protection relays of different manufacturer.
