The company announces its need for Long Term Purchase Agreement for the Supply of Downhole Demulsifier. The downhole demulsifier chemical breaks down the emulsion formed between oil and water. As such, Bapco Upstreaminjects the demulsifier in oil wells that produce oil via gas lift (a form of artificial lift technology that enhances production of oil wells) which aids in breaking down the built-up emulsion. Moreover, Bapco Upstream heavily relies on this downhole demulsifier as it ensures that there is no disruption to well flow and that a well’s production is consistent and does not decline.
