The company announces its need for Prequalification for the supply of Vibration Monitoring System. Vibration Sensors play an important part in machine monitoring, as vibration could be due to anomalies in the machine’s health or an indication of an imminent failure. For complex machines such as Compressors, the Vibration Monitoring System comprises of Vibration Sensors and controller modules that can provide readable outputs based on the raw data from the sensor. For simpler machines such as Pumps, Fans, the Vibration Monitoring System comprises of Vibration Transmitters that are directly connected to the Programmable Logic Controller system. As the name suggests the wired vibration sensors or transmitters are connected to Programmable Logic Controller via physical wires whereas wireless sensors or transmitters communicate wirelessly to the Programmable Logic Controller. The prequalification tender package contains two annexes, annex 1 and annex 2 contains the evaluation criteria, deviation list, and data sheet for the wireless Vibration Monitoring System.
