No.: ITT/RG16/G172/09 Issue Date: 30-Sep-2009 Bid Closing Date: 11-Nov-2009 Online Registration End Date: 05-Oct-2009 Contract Duration: 5 years Bid Bond: QAR 2,800,000 Scope of Work: The scope of work includes corrosion control systems namely Cathodic Protection (CP) Systems, corrosion coupons and Electrical Resistance (ER) probes installed from Train 1 to Train 7, AKG1 and AKG2 assets & its associated Offsite and Utility assets. The services are summarized as follow: 1- Routine Corrosion Monitoring Services: a- CP monitoring activities. - Monthly CP monitoring activities. - Quarterly CP monitoring activities. - Yearly CP monitoring activities b- Internal Corrosion monitoring activities: - Yearly corrosion coupon retrieval. - Half-yearly ER Probe measurement c- Coating condition monitoring activities. 2- Minor maintenance work: - CP maintenance work. - Corrosion coupon retrieval equipment maintenance. 3- Record of all Monitoring and Maintenance works in SAP & Meridium or other software as required. 4- Ad-hoc Corrosion Services on call-off/Ad-hoc basis. - Specialized CP surveys. - Supplementary CP Services. - Supply of associated materials. - Provision of - Corrosion Engineers, CP Engineers, CP Technicians, Corrosion Technician for Company’s Operation Technical Department for agreed period as and when requested through service orders. 5- The corrosion monitoring and maintenance service shall be executed by providing a professionally experienced team, specialized in the cathodic protection, internal corrosion monitoring services with the required testing equipment/measuring instruments, transport, software, tools, testing kits, mobile telephones, computers etc to execute the scope of work mentioned elsewhere in this contract. The contractor shall also provide testing, maintenance, measurements, auditing, procedures, design review, installation, and any other specialized surveys/studies for the company’s existing cathodic protection systems associated with the company’s pipelines, plant piping, tanks, vessels, concrete structures etc in order to provide sufficient level of protection against corrosion. |
