Ext: 2241/2239/2298 Fax: + 218 21 3608501 P.O.Box 395 E-mail: sgoudgoud@wahaoil.net Scope of Work: Waha Oil Company intends to pre-qualify contractors specialized in marine works for the construction of an extension of an existing breakwater, repairs to the harbour facilities and construction of a new harbour observation office at their marine terminal at Es-Sider as follows: 1- The design, detailing and construction of a breakwater extension of approximately 500 metres in length. 2- Repair works consisting of: a- Scour protection and stabilization of the seabed in the region of the slipway b- Injection of concrete to fill the gaps under the rail beam foundation c- Repairs to cracks in the slipway cap beam d- Repairs and application of corrosion protective coatings to the sheet piles of the slipway and jetties. E- Replacement of collapsed slab at slipway gangway f- Demolition and replacement of jetty capping beams, including replacement of bollards g- Supply and installation of additional bollards and tie anchors and replacement of all damages wharf concrete slabs h- Demolition and replacement of damaged slabs at LST jetty I- Demolition and replacement of damaged reinforced concrete at main breakwater j- Construction of New Harbour Observation Office k- Replacement of existing concrete breakwater access road l- Repairs to the existing breakwater side wall m- Repairs to the existing concrete slope protection on the harbour side of the breakwater. |
