Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eissa said a protocol of cooperation was signed by the Egyptian and Turkish industry ministries to boost competitiveness of small- and medium-sized enterprises. In press statements after returning from Turkey, Eissa added the deal aims at promoting industrial activities and training courses as well as the exchange of information and researches. While in Turkey, Eissa attended meetings of the Group of Eight Developing Islamic Countries (D8) in Istanbul.
