Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Mahmoud Issa has stressed the need to draw-up a new strategy for the future of trade and economic ties between Egypt and the US. The strategy should focus on achieving joint interests for the two countries, he added. He added that time is ripe for the US to play its role in supporting the Egyptian economy in the transition phase. Issa made the remarks during his meeting on Sunday with a US delegation.
