Construction and Realty Sector Issues Discussion

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a networking meeting for its private sector members and their regional and global counterparts from the construction industry at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai on Tuesday. It was organised on the sidelines of the Big 5 show which is the largest construction exhibition in the region attracting over 2,500 exhibitors from 75 countries.

The match-making meeting, which came directly within the framework of Dubai Chamber’s strategic objective of creating a favourable business environment, provided an ideal platform for businesses belonging to the real estate and construction sectors to work together for the economic growth of their particular sector while contributing to the overall development of the Emirate.

HE Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, informed that on its part Dubai Chamber makes it a point to promote all Dubai events, especially trade exhibitions and conferences which provide direct access to Dubai businesses to meet their global counterparts and work jointly towards enhancing trade ties with ??????a wider global business community.

The Director General further stressed that the members’ participation in events like Big 5 is an opportunity which they cannot afford to miss as the event provides them with an in-depth analysis of key aspects of property development in Dubai including the issues facing their sector. His Excellency also said that such interactions impart an educating experience for the members who can learn and catch-up with the ongoing trends in the global construction industry.

The networking gathering served Dubai Chamber’s purpose of serving the business community by facilitating their interaction with global players while opening the doors of new markets and investment opportunities for them. In its quest to develop a competitive business community, the august business facilitator helps enhance communication channels between different economic sectors which directly supports the overall economic growth of Dubai while raising the competitiveness of the Emirate’s businesses in the global arena.
