Egyptian contracting companies should seize the opportunity to participate in rebuilding the so-called ‘Arab Spring’ countries, according to Hussein Saboor, head of the Egyptian Businessmen Assembly. Saboor said Egypt should work in cooperation with Turkish companies, as political desire is not enough to activate cooperation between the two countries.
Saboor added that Egyptians should seize the opportunity to establish an Egyptian-Turkish partnership in the contracting sector through participating in rebuilding the Arab countries that witnessed mass uprisings this year. He said Egypt witnessed construction works estimated at 60 billion EGP (U.S. $10 billion) recently, adding that the office of the Saboor Group in Tripoli has been closed since the Libyan revolution. He said he has not decided to reopen it yet. |
