Egypt's cotton exports during 2010/ 2011 season ending 9/30/2011, has reached 111,000 tons valued at $ 457 million. This was concluded in a recent report of the Cotton Exporters Federation indicating that the first ranked in terms of importing Egyptian cotton was India with 27,000 tons, followed by China with 21,000 tons. Third and fourth ranked were Pakistan and Switzerland with 10,000 tons each.
