Chinese Government has given Egypt the equivalent of $ 9.2 million grant to finance the procurement of up to 700 vehicles for the use of police forces. This was reported in the media indicating that the Chinese party has also approved the use of the balance of an earlier given $ 12.4 million grant for the same purpose to raise the number of vehicles to 1,000 units.
