Indonesia President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, met here with HE Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani . At the outset of the meeting , HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister conveyed to the Indonesian President the greetings of HH the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, wishing the Indonesian people further progress and welfare. For his part, the Indonesian President assigned the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to convey his felicitations to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent, wishing meantime more development and progress to the Qatari people.
Talks during the audience dealt with bilateral relations and means of shoring them up in the several domains. The two sides also agreed on establishing Qatar-Indonesia Investment Company, which will be totally owned by Qatar Holding Company. A US Dlrs.one billion was allocated for the said company's investment in Indonesia in all areas. The audience was attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Prime Minister.
It was also attended on the Indonesian side by a number of senior officials. Later HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani left Bali island , Indonesia after having attended the 4th Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) on the level of the foreign ministers of Asian countries and the participation of 66 countries and international organizations in Nusa Dua in the Indonesian island of Bali. HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed Joulo and the embassy staff.
