Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs and the UAE delegation visiting Ghana from Dec. 11- 13, have met Vice President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama and Foreign Minister of Ghana Muhammad Mumuni.
During the meeting Al Ghaith conveyed the regards of the Ghanaian officials to the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.
The two sides discussed joint economic issues. The Ghanaian officials lauded the distinguished relations between the two countries, stressing keenness of their country to bolster the relations. For his part, Al Ghaith stressed that the UAE is also keen to boost the bilateral ties with the Republic of Ghana in all fields in the best interest of both countries.
