Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was received by Chairman of the Libyan National Transitional Council Mustafa Mohammed Abdul Jalil who lauded the key role played by the UAE in support of the 17 February revolution through the GCC and Arab League.
Abdul Jalil said he discussed with Sheikh Abdullah ways to enhance bilateral relations in all domains. They also exchanged views on the Emirati experiment in the fields of ports, airports and property investments. "The UAE has been offering humanitarian assistance to Libyans inside and outside the country either through the camps established by the UAE Red Crescent Authority in Tunisia or by hosting scores of Libyans since the start of the revolution," he added. |
