Egypt's Finance Minister Momtaz Sa'ed has issued a decree detailing expenditure rationalizing plan for the administrative apparatus of the government. The rationalizing plan includes cutting down bonuses for civil servants by 10 per cent and governmental operating units expenses by 3 per cent. Sa'ed indicated in press statements that slimming down bonuses of governmental officials will be undertaken in a way so that the principal needs of public sector employees are not affected.
