Mohammed Bin Rashid Meets HM Queen of Netherlands

Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum received at the Zabeel Palace in Dubai, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard of the Netherlands and the delegation accompanying her.

During the meeting, which was attended by Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, they reviewed the relations of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the Netherlands and discussed ways of strengthening them at various levels.

Welcoming Her Majesty, Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of the royal visit, which paves the way for opening new horizons for cultural, economic and political cooperation. The Queen praised the qualitative evolution of civilization witnessed by the UAE under its wise leadership. She also noted Dubai's world reputation and stressed that its success story is hailed and appreciated as exemplary at the state level.

The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi Minister of State, Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim Commander General of Dubai Police and a number of senior state officials. HRH Willem-Alexander Prince of Orange and his spouse HRH Princess Maxima of the Netherlands also attended the meeting.
