FM Discusses Restoring Looted Funds from Europe

Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr received on 7/2/2012 visiting European Union's special envoy to the Southern Mediterranean Bernardino Leon.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Amr Rushdi said that the minister proposed at the meeting forming a joint working group between Egypt and the EU for restoring the smuggled Egyptian funds in Europe.

It was decided to make working groups to discuss ways to support the Egyptian economy, according to what Egypt needs urgently especially in controlling the balance of payments and the lack of liquidity, he added.
