International Companies Confidence in Egyptian Economy

Finance Minister Momtaz el-Saeed said that the ministry's partnership central unit and Alexandria University will announce early in March the name of the consortium to win the Public Private Partnership (P.P.P.) project of establishing two teaching hospitals at the university.

The project, to contribute to pumping around EGP2.5 billion in direct investments over the coming 24 months, will be operated in 2015, he said. The project will offer quality training to medical students and free health care to the citizens, he added.

He also referred to the establishment of a P.P.P sanitation project in New Cairo, which will be operated in June. He said that the reaction of the private business community in Egypt, Arab and foreign countries on the decision to activate a number of development projects reflects confidence in the Egyptian economy.
