The Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eissa stressed the ministry's keenness to development industry and export sectors. The ministry will carry out the plan that aims at standing the challenges facing the Egyptian economy that led to slower economic growth rates, he added. The plan includes re-operating stalled factories that hit more than 1570 in number and rescheduling their debts in line with an agreement with the Central Bank of Egypt, the minister added. The plan also seeks attracting more foreign investments through offering more incentives, he said.
