Al-Ganzouri Discuss Supporting Real Estate Investment

Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri held on April, 24 2012 a ministerial meeting to probe demands of the real estate investment branch. Housing Minister Fathi al-Baradei said in a joint press conference with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Fayza Abul-Naga that al-Ganzouri was keen on meeting almost all the demands of real estate investors to make it easier for them to carry out their projects. For her part, Abul-Naga said that the government approved the main demands of the real estate branch investors affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce.

The government's responding to this sector, in which more than 4 million laborers are working, will help cement the sector that was drastically affected by the economic conditions since the outbreak of the January 25th Revolution, noted Abul-Naga. In addition, the government has appropriated another LE 2.5 billion since last January for the same purpose of consolidating the reconstruction and building sector, she added.
