The Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade announced that the complaints committee had solved most of the problems facing investors in the industry and trade fields. In statements on 7/5/2012, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eissa said the government is exerting efforts to regain industrial development rates and to refresh the industrial and commercial sectors.
He referred to the procedures taken by the ministry to attract more investments. Eissa said that the stalled factories will be given temporary licenses and industrial records for 6 months until completing the required procedures and adjusting their positions. The Minister pointed out that Housing Ministry and governorates are currently coordinating to provide land needed for industrial investments.
