Qatar and Kingdom of Thailand held here today a session of official talks chaired by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra. The two sides reviewed relations of cooperation between the two countries and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
Following the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of health between Qatar and Thailand, agreement on recruitment of Thai workforce in Qatar , agreement on cooperation in the cultural field, as well as an agreement on cooperation in the field of trade and investment in agricultural products and commodities, especially halal food. Later, HE the Premier and Foreign Minister hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Thai Premier and her accompanying delegation. |
