Ethiopia's Ambassador in Cairo Mahamoud Dirir Gheddi on 01/06/2012 said the Egyptian investments in Ethiopia do not exceed one billion dollars and Egyptian businessmen seek to increase the volume of joint investments. Dirir pointed out that Nile Investments Fund hit one billion dollar, adding that the fund is currently considering several joint projects in different domains to be financed. He asserted that Ethiopia is seeking to develop its relations with Egypt in different fields and providing real Egyptian investments in Ethiopia.
