The Egyptian Stock Exchange continued its mixed performance until the close of this week's trading with a state of anticipation for a verdict to be handed down against former president Hosni Mubarak during a court hearing on Saturday. The main benchmark EGX 30 index marginally rose by 0.01 percent to 4,686.42 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) went down by 0.03 percent to 408.62 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also declined by 0.25 percent to reach 732.32 points.
