Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations are witnessing unprecedented growth as Egypt's exports to Kuwait increased by 36 percent last year to reach EGP 1.4 billion. This would open wide horizons for cooperation between the two countries not only in the trade sector and joint investments but also in integration to jointly act in the nearby countries, especially Africa which enjoys numerous investments and trade opportunities. Egypt's ambassador in Kuwait Abdulkarim Soleiman said Kuwaiti businessmen welcomed the proposal to establish a business council with Egyptian businessmen, to increase Kuwaiti investments in Egypt which is hitting now EGP 16.4 billion distributed in 805 projects mostly in the real estate sector.
