The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) approved on 17/6/2012 a credit facilities agreement estimated at $65 million for Egypt to finance trade with other Arab countries within the framework of a trade financing program run by AMF, central banks and other monetary corporations in the Arab region.
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Farouq el-Oqda said in a meeting held on 17/6/2012 in Abu Dhabi with the AMF's officials that Egypt's commercial banks' revenues and capital are strong and that the current situation is improving at the time being. |
